Once again, we were happy to hear from you. Your comments were extremely positive overall. Not only are you learning more about your craft and the practice of critiquing from our workshop series, you seem to be enjoying them too! We also gathered some useful suggestions; in particular, that we need to make sure we’re not repetitive with our speakers.

Here’s a summary of your response profiles:
How effective have you found the workshops? Seventy percent of respondents attended 1 or more workshops through the first half of 2014. Of those respondents, almost 85% felt the workshops were useful or very useful to their writing activities. Ninety-five percent of respondents who have attended 1 or more workshops have found them somewhat or extremely effective in improving their critiquing skills, and 90% have found them somewhat or extremely effective in improving their writing skills.
Eighty-seven percent have found the craft presentations effective.
How satisfied are you with the workshop format? Sixty-five percent of respondents who have attended 1 or more workshops are satisfied with the current mix of craft presentation and critique practice. Slightly over 15% would like to see more craft presentation, while slightly over 11% would like to see more critique practice.
Sixty-five percent of respondents who have attended find the current Saturday A.M./P.M. schedule works well, while only 6% would prefer to have shorter Saturday afternoon workshops. Another 6% would prefer to have shorter Saturday morning workshops.
Over half of the respondents think scheduling a workshop every other month is about right. Another 29% feel once a quarter is about right. The remaining lean towards either "Occasionally" or "Once a month"
